Badgers secure a point on the road in Waterloo

Brock started off well but was ultimately unable to hold onto their lead.

The Brock Badgers women's soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw against the Warriors in Waterloo on Friday, Sept. 27. 

Third-year forward Jenna Parris had two first-half goals for Brock, scoring in the 15th minute and then finding the back of the net again just seven minutes later. Both goals were unassisted. 

Waterloo would pull a goal back in the 58th minute and then equalize in the 71st minute. 

Emi Foster was impressive in net for the Badgers, making five saves in the contest.  

Brock also led the game in shots on goal with eight compared to Waterloo's seven. Waterloo led in total shots with 11 compared to Brock's 10. 

Neither team received a yellow card in the match.  

Up next, the Brock Badgers women's soccer team will rematch the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. at Alumni Field.
