Brock started it's back-to-back home stand with a showdown against Queen's. 
The Brock Badgers women's hockey team came up short in overtime by a score of 4-3 against the Queen's Gaels on Saturday, Jan. 17 at Canada Games Park. 
Catriona Cormier, Madison Cronkwright and Randyll Strongman scored for the Badgers. 
The Badgers went down early with a goal from the Gaels just 49 seconds into the game. 
Cronkwright and Strongman netted the Badgers' goals in the second period but the Gaels scored a goal of their own to keep the game tied at two goals apiece. 
The Badgers trailed with 26 seconds on the clock when Cormier found the loose puck and sent the game to overtime. 
Queen's scored the winner with just 4.7 seconds left in the overtime period. 
Brock piled on the shots, outshooting Queen's by a total of 45-36. 
Ava Cruikshank posted a .875 save percentage but made timely saves to keep the Badgers in the game. 
Next, the Brock Badgers women's hockey team face the Windsor Lancers on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. at Canada Games Park .
