The Badgers were edged out in a tight dual meet with the McMaster Marauders.
The two teams competed in various races at the IWC Pool in Hamilton on Saturday, Jan. 18.

Camren Courchene-Carter took home two first-place finishes at the meet to lead the Badgers' results.
In the 100-metre breaststroke event, Courchene-Carter touched the wall in a time of one minute, two seconds and 58 milliseconds. He also won a relay gold medal with teammates Julien Legault, Aidan Johnston and Blake Bishop in the 4x100m race (3:53.13).
Jackson Bates bested all challengers in the 50m backstroke with a time of 28.08 to place first.
In a race that featured only Brock competitors, Lleyton Shuster hit the finish line first in a time of 4:46.76 in the 400m individual medley.
Additionally, the Badgers saw nine second-place finishes and seven third-place results.
Up next, the Badgers travel to Toronto for the Winter Invitational on Sunday, Jan. 19 at the Varsity Centre Pool.
