Anticipation is building as the Brock Badgers women's soccer team prepares to open a new season.

The Badgers are aiming to return to the playoffs after a one-year hiatus and a 2-6-4 (W-L-T) record in 2024.

The 2025 Ontario University Athletics (OUA) regular season schedule for Brock will begin with two road games against the Algoma Thunderbirds Aug. 30 and 31 at 1 p.m. in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. This will mark the OUA head coaching debut for Zachary Wilson, who was announced as the new head coach of the women's soccer team on May 12.

Fans can catch their first glimpse of the women's soccer team at Alumni Field Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. against the Laurier Golden Hawks for the home opener. 

Last season, the Badgers' campaign was highlighted by a win and tie against the eventual playoff-qualifying Windsor Lancers. The two teams will have their one and only contest in 2025 scheduled for Sept. 21 at Alumni Field at 1 p.m. 

The graduating players will be honoured on Senior Day Oct. 5 at 3:15 p.m. Their final regular season home occurs Oct. 8, when they host the McMaster Marauders at 6 p.m. The rematch will take place three days later, Oct. 11, in Hamilton at 6 p.m.
