Badgers women’s hockey team to return to ice Oct. 10

The puck is about to drop on another year for Brock Badgers women's hockey.

Full Schedule

Missing the playoffs by just one point last season, the Badgers are hungry to make their way back to the postseason in 2025-26.

The first games of the year take place Oct. 10 and Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. as Brock welcomes in the Laurier Golden Hawks and the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks to Canada Games Park.

A key early season game to circle on the calendar is a road matchup Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. against the Nipissing Lakers, last year's Ontario University Athletics (OUA) East Division champions. The last time the Badgers defeated this Lakers squad was in the 2022 McCaw Cup Championship where they earned a 3-1 victory to capture a provincial title for the first time in program history.

The 2024-25 OUA champions and U SPORTS bronze medallists, the Toronto Varsity Blues, will make their lone appearance at Canada Games Park on Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. The two teams have split their last four meetings, with two wins apiece.

Wrapping up the 2025 portion of the schedule, the Badgers will have a road date against the Laurier Golden Hawks in Waterloo, Ont., on Nov. 28 at 7 p.m. before a home contest against the Windsor Lancers at Canada Games Park Nov. 29 at 6 p.m.

Fans can catch a glimpse of last year's national silver medallists, the Waterloo Warriors, Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. The Badgers got the best of the Warriors both times in 2024-25, winning 2-1 at home Nov. 2, 2024 and earning a 3-2 shootout victory Jan. 23, 2025.

A showdown with the Guelph Gryphons, the 2024-25 OUA West Division Champions, marks the last road game of the season for the Badgers Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m.

The team's seniors will be celebrated Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. when the visiting Carleton Ravens make their way to Canada Games Park.
