Box Score The Brock Badgers men's soccer team have hit their stride as the season approaches its conclusion.

Inspired by a winner in the 89th minute by defender Noah Del Vecchio, the Badgers completed a six-point weekend by overcoming the Windsor Lancers on the road on Sunday, Oct. 4.

The Badgers got the goal-scoring action started midway through the first half, as Alp Eren Arikan opened his account for the season, netting an unassisted opener to give the Badgers an early 1-0 lead.

The hosts levelled the match in the 71st minute, before the second-year Political Science major turned hero, finishing off an Eren Arikan assist to notch the win.

The late goal from Del Vecchio marked the second straight road game in which Brock has found a late winner, following an 87th minute goal in their previous road victory against Guelph.

The road victory brings the Badgers back to a .500 record, at 5-5, as they continue to look to try and climb the standings as the season carries on.

The Badgers will look to make it five straight victories and continue their impressive recent road form when they match up with the York Lions in Toronto. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9. The game be seen on OUA.tv.
