The Brock Badgers women's rugby team could not stop scoring in their final game before the playoffs.

As the OUA Playoffs quickly approach, the No. 9 nationally ranked Badgers toppled the Toronto Varsity Blues by a score of 95-0 on Friday, Oct. 9., in Toronto.

Nine different Badgers found the try zone throughout the evening, with Grace Van Den Hoek, Ariel Baugh, Lauren Smith, Emma Thomson, Mya Rickerby, and Carly Kay all scoring two tries.

Brock got the scoring started early in the 5th minute and would not look back, growing in strength as the contest continued as they took a 66-0 lead into the halftime break.

The win continues a red-hot stretch for the Badgers, as they conclude the regular season with four consecutive victories and their second shutout of the season, following their 107-0 win over the Trent Excalibur on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Up next, the Badgers will turn their attention to their OUA playoffs, as they await playoff seedings and matchups as the regular season concludes. The OUA playoffs are set to begin on Saturday, Oct. 17 with the quarter final matches.
