The Brock Badgers women's soccer team opened its weekend with a statement victory, defeating the Western Mustangs in London, Ont.
Jenna Parris continued her hot start to the season, as the striker netted two of Brock's three goals in a 3-1 victory on Friday, Sept. 11.
Parris, a Hamilton native, struck early with a wonder goal from outside the box in the fourth minute to give the Badgers an early advantage.

Lexie Foster was brought down in the penalty area,
Kayleigh DiGirolamo converted from the spot right before the halftime break to give the Badgers a commanding lead entering the second 45 minutes of play.
The two teams exchanged a pair of goals throughout the second half, marking the first goal that Brock has conceded this season.
The Badgers were able to capitalize on their early momentum in the first half, as they outshot the hosts 5-1 to open the evening.
