The Brock Badgers women's rugby team claimed their first victory of the season with a shutout performance on the road.

Travelling to Peterborough, Ont., to face the Trent Excalibur on Saturday, Sept. 19, the Badgers triumphed over their opponents by a score of 107-0.

With eleven different players scoring a try, the Badgers were led by Gabrijela Wicken, who registered her first points as a Badger, finding the try zone three times in the win.

Charlie Burgoyne, Grace Van Den Hoek, Carly Kay, Abigail Wilson, and Sierra Thompson all scored two tries each in the match, highlighting the Badgers' offensive depth throughout the contest.
