Badgers extend unbeaten start with shutout victory over Waterloo

The Brock Badgers women's soccer team closed out the weekend with an arduous victory over the Waterloo Warriors at Alumni Field on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 1 p.m.
 
The win marks Brock's fourth of the year as they continue their undefeated start to the season.
 
Fourth-year forward Kate Halley scored the eventual game winner, pouncing on a loose ball to slot the Badgers ahead in the 10th minute of the game.
 
The Badgers impenetrable backline stayed strong the remainder of the match, absorbing the Warriors attack to keep their third consecutive clean sheet in a row.
 
Maddy Heeley was instrumental in the victory, stopping all seven shots she faced.
 
Up next, the Badgers will welcome the Algoma Thunderbirds to Alumni Field on Friday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. The game can be seen on OUA.tv.
