Offensive explosion powers Badgers past Waterloo

The Brock Badgers women's rugby team could not be stopped in their Wigs Gone Wild themed game against the Waterloo Warriors.

Led by three tries from Charli Burgoyne, the Badgers bested their opponents by a score of 63-3 on Saturday, Sept. 26., at Alumni Field.

The second-year wing opened the scoring in the third minute, setting the stage for the onslaught of scoring that would follow, as they entered the halftime break with a 27-3 lead.

Brock continued to find the try zone consistently throughout the second half, with the visitors unable to put a stop to the Badgers high-flying offense.

The Badgers will look to claim their third consecutive win in a clash in their final home game of the season against the McMaster Marauders. The game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. at Alumni Field and can be seen on OUA.tv.
