Danesi, a fourth-year forward, scored a game-winner in two consecutive games as the Badgers squeaked out two 1-0 victories over the Algoma Thunderbirds this past weekend. The first night Saturday, Aug. 30, the Teacher Education major crossed a ball that went off the Algoma goalkeeper for the goal in the 75th minute. On Sunday, Aug. 31, Danesi then made the most of his penalty kick opportunity in the 42nd minute to help the Badgers take a 1-0 lead that they would not relinquish. Over the two games, Danesi played all 180 minutes, providing offensive firepower for the Badgers all weekend.
