Fifth-year goalkeeper Maddy Heeley was at the heart of Badgers undefeated weekend, keeping two clean sheets and making 17 saves across two games. Beginning the weekend on Friday, Sept. 18, against the Laurier Golden Hawks, the Master of Professional Kinesiology major denied all 10 shots that came her way to help the Badgers earn a hard-fought point on the road. She followed suit with a seven save performance in a home win against the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday, Sept. 20. Heeley’s heroics in net have been instrumental in the Badgers impressive defensive record, with the team conceding just one goal through six matches while remaining unbeaten in the 2026 season.
