LONDON, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team (12-3 overall, 7-2 OUA) split the doubleheader Sunday afternoon on the road against divisional rival Western Mustangs. The Badgers took Game One 2-1 and dropped Game Two by the score of 5-1.
In Game One, two of the top pitchers in the league in Brock's
Paul McKenna and Western's Adam Paish went head- to-head. McKenna went the distance, for his second victory of the week, throwing a two-hitter allowing one run (unearned) while striking out five. Paish also threw seven strong innings allowing two runs on six hits while striking out five in the loss.

Jordan Grant (Mississauga, Ont.) went 2-for-2 to lead the Badgers offense. Junior

Chris Anderi (Tecumseh, Ont.) (1-for-4) rounded out the Brock hitting.
In Game Two, the Brock bats were only able to muster four hits off Western starter Owen Boon who threw a complete game allowing one run with a game-high seven strikeouts.

Daniel Veres (Burlington, Ont.) suffered the loss allowing five runs on three hits over five innings. He struck out four and walked five in his second OUA start of the season.
