
HAMILTON, Ont. - The Brock University baseball team (17-1 OUA, 28-3 overall) defeated the Guelph Gryphons 4-2 in their first game at the OUA Baseball Championships being hosted by McMaster University.
The Badgers will now take on the Waterloo Warriors Saturday 2pm at Bernie Arbour Stadium. Waterloo opened Day One with a 2-0 record, defeating McMaster 12-4 and then defeated the defending OUA Champion Laurier Golden Hawks by the score of 6-3.
Brock jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first.
