Box Score MONTREAL - The Brock Badgers men's basketball team  improved to (5-3 overall, 0-0 OUA) with an 85-76 victory over the St. Francis Xavier X-men in their final game of the McGill Redmen Classic.

The Badgers went on a 21-10 run to close out the first half and never looked back.  

Rookie standout Johneil Simpson led Brock with 24 points and nine rebounds, while Matt Marshall added 17 points and Kevin Wilson 14 as the Badgers shot 39 percent from the floor and scored 22 points off St. FX turnovers.

Coach Charles Kissi used his entire bench in the victory as Brock now welcomes eight CIS teams to the Niagara egion this upcoming weekend as the Badgers host the 2014 RBC Brock Classic at the Bob Davis Gymnasium Friday through Sunday.
