Dylan Perego threw a complete game in 6-1 win over WesternLONDON, Ont. - After dropping their first two of the OUA regular season, the Brock baseball team posted a 4-0 record in week two, including a series sweep over conference rival Western Mustangs Sunday afternoon at Labatt Park. The Badgers won Game One by the score of 6-1 and took Game Two 8-3.
In Game One, Brock starter
Dylan Perego (Waterdown, Ont.) went the distance for the complete game victory. Over nine innings of work, he allowed one run on four hits while striking out four.
Phil Steer (Toronto, Ont.) led the way going 4-for-4.
Rob Byckowski (Milton, Ont.) contributed with two hits and an RBI while
Josh Wray (Burnaby, Ont.) added an RBI single. Single hits went to
Ricky Ferri (St. Catharines, Ont.),
Justin Gideon (Pickering, Ont.),
Dennon Koziol (Hamilton, Ont.),

Marcus Beal (Brantford, Ont.),
In Game Two, the Badgers had a six run third on route to the 8-3 road victory.
Brock starter
Jeff Baggaley (Whitby, Ont.) threw four shutout innings allowing two hits with five strikeouts for the win.
At the plate, Brock had four players with multiple hit games including Ferri (2-for-3), Grant (2-for-3), Gideon (2-for-4) and Koziol (2-for-4, RBI). Adding singles were Byckowski and
Ben Kirby (Burlington, Ont.).
The Badgers return to action on September 23rd in a non-conference doubleheader versus Fanshawe. They will also be at home September 26th against Laurier with a 1:30pm start on Alumni Day and September 27th versus Ryerson with the first pitch scheduled for noon.
