
AJAX, ON - The Brock University baseball team defeated the Waterloo Warriors by the score of 11-1 Saturday afternoon at the OUA Baseball Championships.
Rookie
Matthew Legg (Vancouver, BC) led the Badgers offense going 4-for-4 with the double and 5 RBI.

Jaiden Hill (Whitby, ON),
Matthew Casburn (St. Catharines, ON) and
Dawson Veeneman (Delta, BC) all added two hits each as the Badgers advanced to Sunday's championship finals against the Western Mustangs.
Starting pitcher
Rhys Tapper (Ancaster, ON) seven complete innings allowing one run on hits while striking out two. Waterloo starter Rayman Singh went just 2 1/3 innings allowing six runs on five hits while walking four and striking out three in the loss.Â
The Badgers will need to collect two wins over Western on Sunday to capture their fifth conference title in school history.
