Box Score WINDSOR, ON - The Brock University men's soccer team (0-0-1 OUA) opened the 2016 OUA regular season with a 1-1 draw against the Windsor Lancers Saturday afternoon on the road.

After almost a two hour rain delay, the Lancers got on the board first. At the 6:54 mark off a corner kick, Carlos Soares found Jamar Redhead who put it past Brock senior goalkeeper Matt Zaikos (Markham, ON) for the 1-0 lead.

In the 89th minute, Brock's Arsen Platis (Stoney Creek, ON) would be issued a penalty kick. The Badgers 2015 Rookie of the Year would bury it past Windsor starter Greg Chac for the 1-1 tie.

In goal, Brock's Zaikos would register four saves for the tie, while Chac added just one save for Windsor.

The Badgers will take on the Western Mustangs Sunday afternoon at 3:15 pm in London.
