The Brock University women's lacrosse team finished their last regular season weekend with 1 win and 2 losses. The Badgers won 13-5 against UOIT Ridgebacks, lost 13-5 against Queens Gaels, and had a hard fought loss Sunday against the Toronto Varsity Blues.
During the first game the Badgers led the first half 6-1 with Ally Godin allowing only one goal. Brock added in seven more goals in the second half.Â
Emma Mete,
Marianna Andrade and
Mikayla Vaz all registered two goals and two assists.
Shania Porter, Cece Payne and
Ally Brown all added a goal and assist.Â
Victoria Halliday,
Hannah-Brie Scott,
Olivia Langdon and
Jennifer Budarick chipped in with a goal each.
The Badgers had a hard fought loss against Queens Gaels. The Badgers were able to keep the Gaels lead short until the second half when they took the game 13-5.
Brown recorded two goals whileÂ
Lindsey Highfield added a goal and two assists. Mete and Porter rounded out the scoring with a goal each.
To finish the Badgers regular season off against the Blues, they were down 8-0 at half. Brock only allowed 4 goals in the second half while adding 4 to finish with a 12-8 loss.Â
Brown collected one goal and one assist with singles going to Halliday, Langdon and Highfield.
The Brock Badgers finished their regular season 7-6 and are looking forward for OUA playoffs in Kitchener beginning this Friday, October 20th.
