ST CATHARINES - Taking part in the provincial championship on Saturday at the Royal Henley Rowing Course in St. Catharines, the Brock Badgers men's rowing team claimed their second consecutive banner, while the women placed third overall.
The men's rowing championship marks the 13th provincial banner in program history for the Badgers. With six podium finishes on Saturday (3 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze) Brock was led by
Stephen Harris who captured a pair of gold medals in the men's lightweight 2x and lightweight 8+. Harris would go on to be named OUA Men's Rower of the Year, while Brock coach
Tom Kent was honoured as OUA Men's Rowing Coach of the Year.
