PETERBOROUGH - With nearly all their OUA competitors on hand, the Brock Badgers men's and women's rowing teams raced in the annual Head of the Trent event his past weekend, scoring a dozen podium results.

"We had a great day of racing with very good conditions," said Brock rowing head coach
Peter Somerwil. "With all the universities from the OUA participating Brock rowers did very well with 4 first place finishes; 5 second places, 3
rd place finishes. The tightest race of the day was in the men's eight with the Brock heavyweight men besting the Brock lightweight men by only three tenths of a second over the three mile distance into a slight head wind."
Next the Badgers will welcome others to the Brock Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 15.
