Brock men’s hockey team advances to OUA semifinals

The Brock men's hockey team is one skate closer to the Queen's Cup.

The Badgers overwhelmed the York Lions by a score of 8-2 in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) quarter-final at the Meridian Community Centre in Pelham on Saturday, March 19.

"It was good to see guys rewarded with some points tonight while playing the right way and creating our chances with good defence first then quick transitions," said head coach Kevin Forrest. "Certainly a good feeling to be moving on and we'll enjoy this tonight, but when we wake up tomorrow it means the job isn't finished. We'll get right back to work preparing for an elite opponent in the Rams."
