The Brock Badgers men's golf team competed in their final tune up before the provincial championships. 

Sean Fraser and Jaxon Kearns had strong finishes for the Badgers at the Gryphon Invitational on Monday, Sept. 30 at the Cutten Club in Guelph. 

The Badgers placed sixth overall with a team score of 309. 

Fraser finished one stroke from first place, earning a score of 73 to tie for second with Conor Gaudet and Spencer Krol from the Laurier Golden Hawks. 

Tying for fifth with six other golfers was Kearns who was a mere one stroke away from Fraser, finishing with a 74.  

Morgan Daly and Robbie Pemberton both shot an 81 while Liam McKeiver was not far behind with an 82. 

Up next, the Badgers travel to Windsor for the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Championships at the Ambassador Golf Club. Last season, the men's golf team finished fifth.
