The Badgers had an impressive showing at the Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) National Rowing Championships.
A podium sweep of the senior men's lightweight single highlighted Brock's eight-medal performance at the three-day event that took place from Friday, Oct. 11 to Sunday, Oct. 13 at the Welland Recreational Waterway in Welland.
"We're proud of the team's effort and finishes at the national championships," said Brock head coach Katie Bruggeling. "From Stephen Harris, Mia Biancaniello and Charles-Etienne Tabet securing gold, to the incredible Brock rowing sweep of the senior lightweight men's single podium, it was a testament to the hard work and dedication of each athlete."
Stephen Harris bested all challengers in the men's single to win a gold medal, crossing the finish in a time of seven minutes, 27 seconds and 713 milliseconds.
Joining Harris with a gold medal was Mia Biancaniello who placed first in the women's PR3 event in a time of 9:42.919.
