Sawyer Dalton and Benjamin Molnar are headed back to St. Catharines with some hardware.
Dalton, Molnar and other members of the Brock Badgers men's rowing team competed at the famous Head of the Trent regatta in Peterborough on Saturday, Oct. 5.
In the men's lightweight bear, Dalton and Molnar captured a gold medal with a time of 14 minutes, 37 seconds and 952 milliseconds. Their finish was more than 20 seconds of the McMaster Marauders (14:58.648) who place second.
The two were not done collecting medals as the lightweight eight consisting of Dalton, Ethan Mason, Arden White, Molnar, Jonas Masys, Sam Parlatore, Luca Hardy, Christian Moise and c: Daniel Phillips captured second (15:49.146).
Placing third with a time of 17:36.967 was Jonas Masys, Ethan Mason, Luca Hardy, Christian Moise and c: Daniel Phillips who teamed up for the men's lightweight four.
Up next, the Badgers will now host the Brock Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Henley Island in Port Dalhousie.
