Men’s squash swept in weekend series in Toronto

The Brock Badgers men's squash team dropped to 3-4 on the season.

Travelling to the Glendon Athletic Club in Toronto, the Badgers suffered losses to the McGill Redbirds 5-2 and Waterloo Warriors 6-1 at the Jester's Sectional No. 2.

Brock 2 - McGill 5

After dropping the first match to the Redbirds, the Badgers bounced back with two consecutive wins in what would be their only victories of the seven individual matches.

Mohryan Baksh defeated Chris Hatoum 3-0 (11-5, 11-9, 11-6) and Jeffrey Dommasch earned a gritty 3-1 victory (11-6, 11-5, 6-11, 11-7).

The Badgers received set wins from Finley Armstrong, Luque Lockhart and Kemar Lord but it was not enough to earn individual match victories.

Brock 1 - Waterloo 6

The Badgers' lone victory came from Baksh who bested Waterloo's Kostubh Agarwal 3-1 (13-11, 6-11, 11-5, 11-4).

Setia Joy battled with Mikhail Fonin, dropping a tight five-set match that went into extra points (11-8, 8-11, 11-5, 10-12, 12-14).

The other lone set was won by Aidan Parris 12-10 against the Warriors' first player Mahdy Karam.
