The Brock Badgers women's squash team secured its first win of the season.

On Saturday, Nov. 2, the Badgers defeated the Guelph Gryphons before succumbing to the Queen's Gaels on Sunday, Nov. 3.

Brock 4 - 3 Guelph

A close contest ended with the Badgers victorious over the Gryphons on Saturday.

Rachael Liu opened for Brock, winning in four sets over Guelph's Anne Hargraves.

Going the distance in a five-set loss, Emma Shea won two sets (11-6, 11-8). 

After going down 2-1, the Badgers rallied with wins from Evelyn Anzik, Julie Do and Allison MacPhail, who all won in three sets, to lift them over the Gryphons.

Brock 0 - Queen's 7

On Sunday, the Badgers were swept by the Gaels.

Do and MacPhail both won a set each in their matchups, with Liu winning two sets against her opponent.
