Brock had a perfect weekend for its host event.
The Brock Badgers men's curling team won all four matches between Saturday, Jan. 18 and Sunday, Jan. 19 at the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club.
On the opening day of the Brock Invitational, representing the Badgers were Graham Dix, Owen Henry, Victor Pietrangelo and Patrick Sipura.
Starting off Saturday strong, Brock took down the York Lions in seven ends after a three-point third end was enough for the hosts to secure the 5-4 victory.
In their second match of the day, this time against the Western Mustangs, the Badgers stormed off to a 4-0 lead after one end and did not look back as they won 11-1 in just five ends.
Moving on to Sunday, Brock added Daniel Krowchuk and Elias Whittington to the team with Dix and Sipura also sticking around.
Matching up against the Laurier Golden Hawks to open the day, the Badgers secured the win late, picking up three points between the sixth and seventh ends to win 5-2.
Rounding off a perfect invitational for the Badgers, Brock defeated the Ottawa Gee-Gees 7-1 in just four ends after scoring four in the second and three in the third.
Through four contests, the Badgers had a +20 score differential with six steals for and just one steal against.
Next, the Brock Badgers men's curling team will prepare for the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Championship hosted by the Guelph Gryphons at the Galt Country Club between Friday, Feb. 7 and Sunday, Feb. 9.
