Brock headed to the United States this past weekend.
The Brock Badgers men's track & field team competed at the SPIRE Midwest Invitational in Geneva, OH on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Building on an excellent season in the pole vault where he has already earned four gold medals,
Michael Ivanov captured a third-place finish in the elite group, leaping as high as 4.85-metres.
In the men's long jump, leading the Badgers was
Morris Agyeman who placed 19th with a result of 6.10m.
Khalil Harry (5.78m) and
Karsten Brown (5.76m) also took part in the event.
For the men's 60-metre event prelims,
Colton Spencer placed 13th out of 91 racers with a sprint time of 7.09.
The Badgers' two sole participants in the men's one-mile run finished in the top ten as
Christian Ligtenberg came eighth (4:19.92) and not far behind was
Garrett Wager (4:21.28) in ninth.
In the men's 400-metre dash,
Keshawn Igbinosun earned yet another medal on the season, picking up his first bronze medal and third overall podium finish with a time of 49 seconds and 25 milliseconds. Igbinosun was just 25 milliseconds from a second-place finish.
Brock placed third in the men's 4x400m relay event with a time of three minutes, 24 seconds and five milliseconds.
Next, the Brock Badgers men's track and field team heads to the York Open in Toronto from Friday, Jan. 31 to Saturday, Feb. 1.
