After Brock quickly got out to a 6-0 lead, TMU responded by scoring 17 of the next 21 points. The Badgers were resilient, closing the quarter on a 7-2 run to head into the second tied up at 19 apiece. The Bold earned five steals en route to a 23-13 second quarter, while Anthony Heyes scored a team-high five points for the Badgers as they tried to keep things close. The Bold took a 62-45 lead into the fourth, despite the Badgers leading in offensive rebounds 4-1 and in second-chance points 5-0. Trying to rally a comeback, Bujdoso scored seven fourth-quarter points, but in the end, TMU used their early lead by strategically playing with long possessions and took the game 77-64. In the opening game of OUA quarterfinal series, the No. 6 OUA West seed Brock Badgers men's hockey team fell 6-2 to the No. 2 OUA West seed TMU Bold at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto on Wednesday, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series. Keefe Gruener scored the Badgers' first goal of the night, while defender Jonah Boria also found the back of the net. Second-year netminder Ben Bonisteel recorded 26 saves. The Bold took advantage of an early breakaway chance just three minutes into the contest to score the only goal of the opening period of play. The second frame saw plenty of goal-scoring action, with the Bold doubling their advantage with an early power-play goal. Gruener's backhand effort cut the deficit in half, but the Bold responded with two late goals to close out the period, giving them a 4-1 lead heading into the final 20 minutes of play. Surrendering another goal to start the frame, Brock scored their second goal as Boria tucked away a late opportunity that fell to him. The Bold scored the final goal of the night to cement their four-goal victory. The hosts' effectiveness on the power play proved vital as they converted two of their three chances with the man advantage while the Badgers went 0-for-2.

Returning home for Game 2 of their best-of-three OUA quarterfinal series against the No. 2 West seed TMU Bold, the No. 6 West seed Brock Badgers men's hockey team earned a 3-2 comeback victory on Saturday. Zack Stringer and Nicholas Domitrovic scored the first two goals for the Badgers, while Alexis Cournoyer scored the game-winning goal in the third period. Between the pipes, netminder Bonisteel had an impressive showing, making 30 saves in the contest. The Bold opened the scoring late into the first period after captain Connor Bowie found the back of the net off a wrist shot. After the Bold's Daniil Grigorev extended their lead to 2-0 in the second period, Stringer responded a minute later, cutting the lead to 2-1. The third period saw the Badgers kill off two early penalties. Using their momentum from the penalty kill, the Badgers earned the tying goal off the stick of Domitrovic 12 minutes into the frame. A tripping penalty from TMU's Jaden Raad gave Brock the man advantage, and in the final 30 seconds of their power play, Cournoyer found the back of the net to give the Badgers the victory. The Badgers committed six minutes' worth of penalties, whereas the Bold tallied four. Both teams made the most of their power plays, with each scoring once on the man advantage.

In a Game 3 matchup of an Ontario University Athletics (OUA) quarterfinal series, the No. 6 OUA West seed Brock Badgers came up just short, falling 2-1 to the No. 2 OUA West TMU Bold at the Mattamy Athletic Centre on Sunday night. Stephen Calisti scored his first goal of the playoffs in the third period to spark a comeback bid, and Bonisteel delivered 18 saves in net. The Bold opened the scoring on the power play with just 30 seconds remaining in the first period. A scoreless second period saw Brock awarded a penalty shot, but the Badgers were unable to convert. TMU doubled its lead midway through the third off the stick of Jaden Raad. Down 2-0, Brock capitalized during 4-on-4 play in the offensive zone as Calisti buried a shot past the glove of TMU's Kai Edmonds to cut the deficit in half. With the goalie pulled late, the Badgers pressed for the tying goal, but the Bold held on for the win. Brock outshot TMU 31-20 but went 0-for-3 on the power play, while the Bold finished 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

In Game 1 of an OUA quarterfinal best-of-three series, the No. 5 West seed Brock Badgers women's hockey team fell 3-0 to the No. 4 nationally ranked and No. 1 OUA seed Laurier Golden Hawks on Wednesday at the Waterloo Memorial Recreational Complex in Waterloo, Ont. Megan Thiessen anchored the defensive effort, stopping 29 of 31 shots faced. Early in the game, the Badgers struggled with discipline, taking two first-period penalties. Strong defence helped Brock kill them off and hold a scoreless tie through the opening frame. Laurier broke the deadlock early in the second period when Kylie Laliberte found the back of the net. The Golden Hawks added another goal before the second intermission to extend the lead. In the final period, the Badgers pushed for offence, but Laurier limited Brock to six shots and sealed the result with an empty-net goal to secure the 3-0 win.
