Basran, a first-year Social Sciences student, helped secure two more wins this past weekend for the Brock Badgers men’s hockey team, starting in net for both outings. The 6-2 goaltender from Richmond, BC began his weekend with a 34 save effort in the Badgers 3-1 home ice victory over Toronto. He then followed that up with 24 saves in Brock’s 6-2 win at Waterloo on Saturday. Between the two contests Basran recorded a .919 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average, and now has four wins in five starts since joining the lineup at the beginning of January.
