Cole Carpenter, a fourth-year first baseman, helped lead the Badgers to two wins over the Laurier Golden Hawks on Sunday with three hits and an impressive seven runs batted in (RBI). The Business Administration major's grand slam in the top of the eighth helped give the Badgers the cushion they needed to dispatch the Golden Hawks by a score of 6-3 in Game 1. To top it off, Carpenter finished the day with a .500 hitting percentage and a 1.500 OPS (on-base percentage plus slugging).
