Miriam Troger, a first-year Kinesiology major, helped lead the Badgers to a sixth-place finish competing in her first OUA Championships. The Austrian native went undefeated in her three individual matchups against opponents from the Toronto Varsity Blues, Waterloo Warriors, and McMaster Maraduers. Across the weekend, Troger won 28 total sets, while only dropping 12, including a two-set victory against the 2023 and 2025 OUA Player of the Year, Toronto’s Anastasiya Dyadchenko. The freshman standout made an immediate impact on the biggest stage, topping off her impressive debut season with the Badgers.
