ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's lacrosse team (10-1 CUFLA) continued to roll in a Thanksgiving Matinee at home Sunday afternoon as they gobbled up the Laurier Golden Hawks by the score of 20-3. The Badgers outscored their opponents 40-6 this weekend extending their win streak to eight games.
Kyle Davis continued to lead the CUFLA scoring registering a season high 12 points adding five goals and seven assists.
Greg Davidson (6G, 2A) and
Brandon Slade (4G, 4A) both contributed with eight points each. With his six goal performance, Davidson reached the 100 career goal mark as a Badger.
Rounding out the Brock offense were
Brandon Staal (1G, 2A),
Mark Debrone (2G),
Travis Arch (2A),
Jake Nyhuus (1G) and
Cole Petrie (1G).
In goal,
Ian Duffy registered 25 saves for his league leading seventh victory of the season. Duffy currently ranks second in CUFLA goaltending with a career best 5.53 GAA.
The Badgers close out the CUFLA regular season on the road October 19th against the Guelph Gryphons with first place on the line.
