TORONTO - The Brock Badger's women's hockey team (0-2 OUA) dropped a 3-1 decision to the Ryerson Rams (1-2 OUA) Friday night at the Mattamy Athletic Centre.
The Rams would open the scoring 7:32 into the opening period on a goal from Blair Malthaner. Ryerson led 1-0 at the end of one period, after outshooting the Badgers 10-7.
The homeside extended its lead to 2-0 late in the second period as Kayla Karbonik added a shorthanded maker.

Jessica Fickel cut Ryerson's lead to 2-1, 14:35 into the third period, as she registered her 47th career goal, closing in on the all-time Brock scoring record.
Despite outshooting the Rams 13-8 in the final frame, Ryerson would seal the deal with an empty net goal from Sarah McGilvray.

Stephanie Loukes made 27 saves in defeat, as Brock went 0-for-4 on the powerplay.
The Badgers next return to action Sunday afternoon in Toronto against the U of T Varsity Blues. In fact, Brock doesn't return home until Friday night November 7th when the UOIT Ridgebacks visit the Seymour-Hannah Centre. Game time is 7:15 pm.
