
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's lacrosse team (10-0 CUFLA) captured their 10th straight victory as they defeated the Toronto Varsity Blues by the score of 19-5 Saturday afternoon at Kiwanis Field.
With the victory, the Badgers clinch first place in the CUFLA West Division with two regular season games remaining.
Toronto jumped out to an early 3-1 lead after one quarter, before Brock answered with seven straight goals in the second quarter, leading 8-3 at the half.Â
In the second half, the Badgers offense continued to roll as they added 11 more on route to the 14-goal victory.
Leading the Brock offense was
Mark Debrone who had an eight-point afternoon adding four goals and four assists.
Greg Davidson finished with six goals and one assist, tying his single season goals record with 38.
Mark Vradenburg contributed with a goal and three helpers, while
Kyle Davis (2G, 1A) and Brandn Slade (3A) both added three points a piece. Rounding out the Badgers scoring were

Nicholas Beaudoin (1G),
Brandon Porga (1G) and
Drew Barfoot (1G).
Scoring for the Varsity Blues were Michael Buwalda (2G), Jordan Robertson (1G), Jordan Tingle (1G) and Mike McKegney (1G).  Â
In goal, the Badgers
Ryan Jones posted his ninth win of the season turnig aside 14 of the 19 shots he faced. Toronto's Taylor Stinson collected 10 saves in the loss.
