
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's lacrosse team improved to 6-0 in CUFLA play with an emphatic 23-4 victory over the Nipissing Lakers, Saturday afternoon at Kiwanis Field.
"We kept up the intensity, got to use all our players, but most importantly we stayed disciplined," said Badgers Head Coach Justin Kennedy.
Brock took an early 5-0 lead after 20 minutes, and led 11-0 at the half. The Badgers offense continued to click in the second half adding 12 more goals on route to their sixth straight victory.
Leading the Badgers offense was
Greg Davidson who finished the day with seven goals and two assists for the nine-point performance.
Brandon Slade contributed with four goals and four assists, while
Gage Board added six points contributing with three goals and three assists.
Mark Debrone registered five points wth a goal and four helpers while and
Brandon Porga chipped in with three goals and one assist. Rounding out the Brock scoring were
Kyle Davis (1G, 2A),
Mark Vradenburg (1G, 1A),
Nick Rybka (1G) and
Nicholas Beaudoin (1G).
The Badgers next return to action Wednesday at McMaster against the
(3-4) Marauders.
