Box Score WINDSOR, ON - The Brock University women's hockey team ended the first half of the season with a 5-1 loss to the Windsor Lancers Friday night on the road.

Windsor open the scoring 5:32 into the first period as Erinn Noseworthy added a power play marker. At 11:39, the Badgers tied the game 1-1 as Kimberly Brown (Toronto, ON) set up Christina Ieradi (Maple, ON) for her second goal of the season.

Early in the second period, the Lancers would add back-to-back goals just 20 seconds apart to take a 3-1 lead with goals coming from Kristen Lawrence and Shana Lesperance.

Just over three minutes into the third period, Lawrence recorded her second of the night with a power play goal to put Windsor up 4-1. At 17:12 of the third. Jillian Rops added a shorthanded marker to close out the scoring.

In goal, Brock rookie starter Jensen Murphy (Kingston, ON) recorded 35 saves in the loss. Windsor goaltender Ingrid Sandven collected 20 saves in the victory.
