
SUDBURY, Ont. - The Brock University men's lacrosse team dropped a 13-11 decision to the Laurentian Voyageurs Saturday afternoon at Laurentian University Stadium.
Laurentian led 4-2 after 20 minutes and held a three goal lead at the half 8-5. In the opening five minutes of the third quarter, Voyageurs Patrick Fitzhenry would add back-to-back goals to take a 10-5 lead, as Laurentian went on to defeat Brock for the first time in the program's history.
Fitzhenry led all players with eight points including five goals and three assists. Michael Mayes contributed with two goals and two helpers while Neil McInroy added the natural hat trick.

In goal, Brock rookie
Jacob Sprigg (Mount Albert, Ont.) suffered the loss. Laurentian starter Ian Watkins turned aside 12 of the 23 shots he faced for his third victory of the season.
