Brock men's lacrosse defeats Voyageurs 24-11

The Brock University men's lacrosse team ended the CUFLA regular season with a 24-11 victory over the Laurentian Voyageurs Sunday afternoon at Alumni Field.

The Badgers held a two-goal lead at the half 8-6, before erupting for 16 second half goals on route to their 12th stright conference victory.

Leading Brock was Brandon Slade who finished with 10 points adding two goals and nine assists. Kurtis Woodland had a six-point contest adding three goals and three assists while Connor Brown and Davis Neil contributed with four and three goals respectively. Rounding out the Badgers scoring was Alex Pace (2G, 2A), Nicholas Rybka (2G, 1A), Latrell Harris (1G, 1A), Jordan Gillis (2G), Connor Ham (2G), Connor Aquanno (1G) and Saul Van Der Zalm (1G).

With the victory, the Badgers end the regular season with a 12-0 record and will host a playoff game next Sunday at Alumni Field.
