ST. CATHARINES, ON - Brock Sports has officially announced the addition of
Tim Luey as the new head coach of the Brock men's lacrosse program.
"I'm excited to have Tim join Brock Sports as the new head coach of the men's lacrosse team," said Director of Brock Sports
Neil Lumsden. "A team with a rich history of winning championships and producing top quality players and people. I look forward to watching Tim and his coaches lead this team for many years to come."
Tim, a St. Catharines, ON native, has been an assistant coach with the Badgers for the past three seasons as Defensive Coordinator.
"I'm excited about the opportunity to lead this great lacrosse program," said
Tim Luey. "This program has been a big part of my life and I look forward to the challenge of bringing the Baggataway Cup home to Brock University."
As a player, Tim had a lot of success highlighted by five Baggataway Cup Championships for Brock (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007). He was also part of two OFSAA lacrosse Championships for Holy Cross (1999, 2001), two U19 Ontario Championships for the Niagara Raiders (2001, 2002) and one Minto Cup Championship for St. Catharines Athletics (2003).
