Box Score The Brock University women's basketball team dropped a 63-59 decision to the Lakehead Thunderwolves Friday night at the Bob Davis Gymnasium

Brock rookie Kristin Gallant led the scoring with 19 points, four rebounds and four steals. Also in double digits was Ana Caldeira Rua and Stephanie Finley who added 11 and 10 points respectively.

For the game, Brock shot 30.0% (21-70) from the field, 20.0% (4-20) from beyond the arc and 59.1% (13-22) from the charity stripe. The Thunderwolves went 24–68 (35.3%) from the floor, 5-21 (23.8%) from long range and 10-18 (55.6%) from the free throw line.

The Badgers return to action Saturday night at home when they host the Lakehead Thunderwolves in the second game of the weekend series as part of Senior night. Women tip-off at 6pm and men 8pm inside the Bob Davis Gymnasium..
