OUA releases 2026-27 women’s basketball schedule

Bob Davis Gymnasium will be filled with cheers once again as the Brock Badgers women's basketball team returns to action. 

Full Schedule  

Brock is looking to continue the momentum built from making the playoffs and the OUA quarterfinal round for the seventh consecutive season. 

The regular season slate starts with a road contest in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., against the Algoma Thunderbirds on Friday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m.  

The home opener is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30 against the defending OUA champion TMU Bold at 6 p.m., while the weekend will conclude with a game versus the Toronto Varsity Blues on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. 

Action wraps up for the first half of the season as the Guelph Gryphons and Carleton Ravens come into town for contests on Friday, Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 28 at 4 p.m. 

On Saturday, Jan. 16 at 4 p.m., the Badgers take on the McMaster Marauders for a grudge match at Bob Davis Gymnasium. After falling to the Marauders 82-76 in the Paint the Meridian Red game, the Badgers split the season series, winning the OUA first-round playoff game 76-63. 

A date with the Windsor Lancers on Saturday, Jan 23 at 4 p.m. in Windsor, Ont. is another matchup to circle on the calendar. After winning 77-64 in the regular season, the Badgers fell in the quarterfinals 83-77 to the Lancers, putting an end to their postseason run. 

Paint the Meridian Red returns on Saturday, Jan. 30 as the Badgers take on the Waterloo Warriors at the Meridian Centre in downtown St. Catharines at 6 p.m. 

The final regular-season matchups take place at Bob Davis Gymnasium and are against the visiting Lakehead Thunderwolves on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. and on Senior Night on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m.
