Brock finished on the tough end of a battle against Guelph.  

The Brock Badgers' men's lacrosse team was bested 15-5 by the Guelph Gryphons on Sunday, Oct. 6 at Alumni Field.  

Jack Parker and Avery Steinbach-Parker both found the scoresheet twice in the loss for the Badgers. 

Guelph came out strong scoring the game's first three goals.  

Goals from Parker, Steinbach-Parker and Mitchell Zulian cut into the Gryphons' advantage with the visitors leading 5-3 at halftime. 

Seven third-quarter goals from Guelph would put the game out of reach for Brock with the Gryphons adding three more in the final quarter of play. 

The shot department saw Guelph putting up 28 shots on the night to Brock's 17 shots.  

Next, the Brock Badgers men's lacrosse team hosts the Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. at Alumni Field. The Badgers swept the season series against the Golden Hawks last year, winning 8-3 on Oct. 26, 2023 and 10-3 and Oct. 15, 2023.
