The Brock Badgers men's rugby team has been recognized with three provincial honours.
Brayden McReelis, Grant Meadows and Reon White were all selected as Ontario University Athletics (OUA) First Team All-Stars for the second consecutive season as the OUA announced their major award winners and all-stars on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
"I am thrilled to see Brayden, Grant and Reon recognized for their hard work and performance on field," said Brock head coach Sean Medeiros. "They each played a major role for us this season and contributed greatly to our success this year. Even as returning OUA all-stars, each of them continued to work hard and elevate their game over the season."
McReelis was selected as an OUA First Team All-Star after another strong showing at the prop position.
The Lindsay, ON product played a key role in establishing the scrum as one of the most dominant in the OUA while also having one of the highest work rates on the team.

Joining McReelis on the First Team is Meadows, a third-year back row. The Sport Management major led all Badgers' scorers with seven tries and had a team highs in carries and line breaks as well.
Coming off a strong Canada under-20 campaign this past summer, Meadows brought leadership and a tremendous work rate to the team.
Meadows delivered a single-game high of three tries in the Badgers' matchup against the Waterloo Warriors on Sept. 8.

Rounding out the Badgers' all-stars was White, who finished with two tries. Each try came in wins with the first coming on Sept. 21 against the Excalibur and the second one occurring on Senior Day against the Laurier Golden Hawks on Oct. 19.
From the back three position, White was an attacking force and his dynamic style of play inspired much of the Brock attack. His relentless defence and strong kicking game made him a player to watch for Brock all season.

The Badgers are coming off another playoff appearance and are hoping to continue to build on this momentum for 2025.
