Three members of the Brock Badgers men's hockey team have been recognized.
The announcement of the OUA men's hockey award winners and all-stars was made on Thursday, March 13.
Holden Rogers has been awarded an Ontario University Athletics (OUA) West Division Second Team All-Star Selection while first-year players Jacob Hoffrogge and Zack Stringer have been named to the OUA West Division All-Rookie Team.
"I'm happy for these guys to be recognized for their performance this season. Holden believed in himself and in us when he made the decision to transfer to Brock. It's gratifying to see his passion rewarded," said head coach TJ Manastersky. "Zack and Jacob have stepped into our league and proved they are among the best first-year players. Combined with last year's All-Rookie Team, the Badgers represent 50% of the OUA All-Rookie Team over the last two seasons. It will be fun to watch this young group continue to grow."
Just three players finished with more points than Rogers in the OUA this past season. The third year forward finished tied for fourth in the province and top 20 in the country, with 14 goals and 19 assists, totaling 33 points in 28 games.
Making the switch from the TMU Bold two years ago, the Hamilton product established himself as not only an offensive leader for the Badgers but across all of Ontario. To go along with his point total, Rogers recorded two game-winning goals during the 2024-25 season, including an overtime winner in a 3-2 win against the Nipissing Lakers on Oct. 19, 2024 at Canada Games Park, with the play receiving an OUA Play of the Week honour.

In his first season since joining from the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League, Hoffrogge has made waves on the provincial scene.
The Saskatoon native scored twice this season, recording 13 points in total which was good for third in the OUA among rookie defenseman. Hoffrogge also helped quarterback the Badgers power play as a rookie, recording seven points on the man-advantage this past season.
Hoffrogge netted his first career OUA goal in a 6-3 win over the Guelph Gryphons on Nov. 10, 2024 in Guelph.

Making the All-Rookie team as a forward, Stringer finished eighth in the province in rookie scoring, earning 14 goals and picking up 10 assists for 24 points in 27 games. Stringer's 14 goals saw him finish tied for second in rookie goal scoring.
Stringer found the back of net against the Western Mustangs on Oct. 10, 2024, to earn his first career OUA goal.
The Lethbridge product, like Rogers, scored two game winners this season which included an overtime winner in a 3-2 win over the Guelph Gryphons on Feb. 13 at Canada Games Park.
