Fans are set to return to Canada Games Park as the Brock Badgers men's hockey team opens its new season.
Full Schedule
Margins were razor-thin last season, as the Badgers narrowly missed the playoffs despite finishing just six points behind the West Division-leading TMU Bold.
Their campaign to make their way back to the postseason begins with their home opener Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. against the Toronto Varsity Blues at Canada Games Park.
Canada Games Park will also be the home of an highly anticipated contest Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. between the Badgers and the TMU Bold, last year's OUA silver medallists. Brock will be looking to avenge their two regular season losses last season and a 2-1 loss in the OUA semifinal series in 2023-24.
Home matchups with the Western Mustangs Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. and the Lakehead Thunderwolves Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. will conclude the first half of the regular season slate. With both teams finishing fourth and fifth, respectively, in the division last year, these two contests represent an important part of the Badgers' schedule.
Returning to action in the new year, the Badgers travel to Windsor for two games with the Lancers Jan. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 4 p.m.
The final of three scheduled matchups against the Guelph Gryphons, who finished one spot below the Badgers in the standings last season, will take place on the road Jan. 22 at 7 p.m.
Fans can celebrate the graduating members of the men's hockey team Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. as the visiting Waterloo Warriors make their way to Thorold.
Their first opponent of the season, the Toronto Varsity Blues, will be the final team they play in the regular season as they travel to Toronto for a 7 p.m. clash Feb. 14.
