It was a triumphant return to the postseason for the Badgers in 2025-26 as they made it all the way to the quarterfinal round.Â
The regular season campaign begins on the road on Friday, Oct. 9 against the Laurier Golden Hawks in Waterloo, Ont. at 7 p.m. before the Badgers host the TMU Bold in the home opener at Canada Games Park on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. The Badgers dropped a close best-of-three quarterfinal series 2-1 to the Bold last season.Â
Brock takes on the Toronto Varsity Blues for the first time on Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. as they make their way to the provincial capital. Last year, the Badgers clinched a playoff berth in the final game of the regular season with a 4-2 road victory over the Varsity Blues.Â
The road game against the Lakehead Thunderwolves in Thunder Bay, Ont., on Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. marks the first meeting between the squads since Brock earned a hard-fought 2-1 OUA first-round playoff series victory. A rematch is set for Saturday, Nov. 7 with puck drop also scheduled for 7 p.m.Â
Fans should circle a two-game series with the Guelph Gryphons, who finished one spot above the Badgers last season. The first contest is set for Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Guelph, Ont., while the second is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. back home at Canada Games Park.Â
The Badgers and Thunderwolves are set up for two more meetings in the regular season. Those games will take place at Canada Games Park on Friday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m.Â
Another home matchup with the Bold concludes the 2026 section of the regular season campaign. Game time is set for Saturday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m.Â
Coming back to Canada Games Park, a game against the York Lions on Friday, Jan. 8 at 6 p.m. is the first action for the Badgers following the holiday break. Brock will finish off that weekend with a road game in Waterloo, Ont., against the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 4 p.m.Â
The final home weekend of the season could decide playoff positioning. First, the Laurier Golden Hawks, who finished five points and two spots ahead of the Badgers in 2025-26, come to Thorold for a 6 p.m. game on Thursday, Feb. 11. The graduating class of the men's hockey team will then be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. when the Waterloo Warriors, last year's eighth-place finishers in the OUA West Division, visit Canada Games Park.Â
