Sipura and the Badgers men's curling team are headed to the U SPORTS Championship in Fredericton, NB after a silver medal performance at the OUA (Ontario University Athletics) Championship. Over the three-day bonspiel, Sipura was the lead for the Badgers, helping the team achieve a 5-1 record, which included a 5-3 win over the Guelph Gryphons in the semifinals. The Business major was a consistent presence at the start of each end, which would strain his opposition's lead to keep up. For his efforts, Sipura was recognized as an OUA first team all-star selection at the conclusion of the weekend.Â
